Job Description
African Industries Group is seeking skilled and safety-conscious Hydra Operators to support lifting and material handling operations within its industrial facility in Ikorodu.
The successful candidates will operate Hydra cranes efficiently, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and maintain equipment in optimal working condition to support smooth production and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Hydra cranes for lifting and movement of materials within the facility.
- Conduct routine inspection of equipment before and after use.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures and operational guidelines.
- Report equipment faults or operational issues promptly.
- Support loading and unloading activities in an industrial environment.
- Maintain discipline and efficiency in all assigned tasks.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
Certification
- Valid Hydra operator certification or license is required.
Experience
- Proven experience operating Hydra cranes in an industrial, manufacturing, or construction environment.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of lifting operations and safety standards.
- Ability to inspect and identify equipment faults.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial setting.
- Strong commitment to safety, discipline, and operational excellence.
