Job Description
Grunlab Limited is seeking a smart, motivated, and trainable Entry-Level Biomedical Engineer to join its technical team. The ideal candidate will receive hands-on training while assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of medical and laboratory equipment.
This role is suitable for recent graduates and early-career professionals looking to develop their technical expertise in biomedical engineering and healthcare technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, servicing, and repair of medical and laboratory equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
- Support the diagnosis and resolution of technical faults and equipment issues.
- Prepare service reports and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Provide basic technical support and guidance to clients and end-users.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Participate in training programmes and continuous professional development activities.
- Support other engineering assignments as directed by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in:
- Biomedical Engineering
- Or a related field.
Experience
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Basic understanding of medical or laboratory equipment is an added advantage.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to prepare technical reports and maintain proper documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
