Job Description

PayOak is seeking motivated and ambitious graduates to join its 12-month internship programme across various departments. Successful candidates will gain practical experience, mentorship, and exposure to fintech operations while working remotely with experienced professionals.

These internships are designed to serve as a pathway to potential full-time employment opportunities for outstanding performers.

Available Positions

Digital Marketing & Email Marketing Intern

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating and managing email marketing campaigns.
  • Draft newsletters, customer communications, and promotional content.
  • Support social media and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor campaign performance and engagement metrics.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
  • Prepare reports and recommendations based on campaign performance.

Growth & Business Development Intern

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support user acquisition and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Assist with outreach to freelancers, vendors, creators, and businesses.
  • Help onboard new users to the platform.
  • Conduct market and partnership research.
  • Track campaign performance and user engagement activities.
  • Support community-building and brand awareness efforts.

Customer Support & User Success Intern

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide basic support.
  • Assist new users with onboarding and platform navigation.
  • Create educational materials and FAQs.
  • Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction trends.
  • Maintain support documentation and reports.
  • Contribute ideas to improve customer experience.

Software Quality Assurance (QA) Intern

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test web and mobile applications to identify defects and usability issues.
  • Execute manual test cases and document findings.
  • Report and track software bugs.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams.
  • Participate in feature testing and quality reviews.
  • Support user acceptance testing and regression testing activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Be 30 years old or younger.
  • Have graduated from a tertiary institution in 2022 or later.
  • Have successfully completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
  • Be available for the full 12-month internship programme.
