Job Description
Pestra Limited is inviting applications for its 2026 Graduate Trainee Program, offering opportunities in Supply Chain and ELV Solutions.
The programme is designed for graduates and HND holders who want to build practical expertise in supply chain operations, technology solutions, systems integration, and related areas.
1. Graduate Trainee – Supply Chain
The Supply Chain Trainee will support various stages of the company’s supply chain operations, including demand planning, inventory management, procurement, order processing, and coordination with suppliers and logistics partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support demand planning, procurement, inventory, and order-processing activities.
- Assist with supplier and vendor coordination.
- Support logistics and shipment tracking.
- Help review quotations, pricing, quantities, freight costs, and delivery timelines.
- Analyse procurement, inventory, and logistics data to support operational decisions.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency.
- Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and logistics providers.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation relating to procurement and logistics activities.
- Participate in structured training and professional development programmes.
2. Graduate Trainee – ELV Solutions
The ELV Solutions Trainee will support the design, documentation, and delivery of technology solutions involving electronic security, safety, ICT, communication, networking, audio-visual, and integrated building systems.
Working under the guidance of experienced professionals, the trainee will gain exposure to solution architecture and systems integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in gathering and analysing customer and business requirements.
- Support the design and documentation of technology solutions.
- Contribute to systems integration and solution development activities.
- Prepare technical, process, and project documentation.
- Assist with client presentations and proposals.
- Collaborate with technical, engineering, and cross-functional teams.
- Participate in internal technical training and professional development programmes.
- Support the efficient and timely delivery of technology solutions to customers.
- Develop practical knowledge of ELV, security, safety, ICT, networking, AV, and communication systems.
Qualifications & Requirements
Graduate Trainee – Supply Chain
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of procurement and supply chain concepts, including sourcing, supplier evaluation, purchase orders, inventory management, and logistics.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation abilities.
- Ability to understand business processes, map workflows, and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
- Good numerical skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to assess quotations, prices, quantities, freight charges, lead times, and other commercial information accurately.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams.
- Good organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Willingness to learn and participate in structured training and mentorship.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with ERP, procurement, inventory, or supply chain management systems is an advantage.
- Knowledge of international trade, importation, or logistics processes is an added advantage.
Graduate Trainee – ELV Solutions
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
- Basic understanding of solution architecture and systems integration.
- Strong interest in ELV, electronic security, safety systems, ICT, networking, audio-visual, communications, and integrated building technologies.
- Understanding of how hardware, software, networks, and technology systems interact.
- Foundational knowledge of software, system configuration, or automation concepts.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and translate business needs into suitable technical solutions.
- Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, information, and data.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prepare clear technical documentation and work effectively within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Openness to technical training, OEM certifications, and professional mentorship.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Visio, or similar technical design tools is an advantage.
