Under the President Tinubu’s Engineering Mentorship Programme, the Ministry seeks to strengthen Nigeria’s technical workforce by providing practical training, mentorship, and employment opportunities for skilled artisans involved in infrastructure projects across the country.
Job Description
The Federal Ministry of Works is inviting applications from unemployed skilled artisans across Nigeria to participate in the President Tinubu’s Engineering Mentorship Programme, a nationwide capacity-building initiative under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Important Notice
Although the original advertisements referenced Graduate Electrical Engineer and Graduate Civil Engineer, the Ministry has clarified that graduate engineer applications are no longer being accepted.
This final recruitment exercise is strictly for the Skilled Artisans category.
Successful participants will receive practical construction experience, professional mentorship, safety training, and exposure to live Federal Government infrastructure projects while receiving monthly stipends.
Programme Objectives
- Provide hands-on training in modern construction methods.
- Develop a sustainable local talent pipeline for infrastructure development.
- Reduce youth unemployment through structured work engagement.
- Strengthen project delivery by integrating trained artisans into construction activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen.
- Be between 18 and 45 years of age.
- Possess recognized vocational training, Trade Test certificates, or verifiable practical experience.
- Be unemployed at the time of application.
- Be physically fit for construction-related field work.
- Be willing to undergo additional training, safety certification, and supervised project attachment.
