The Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, execution, and successful delivery of hotel development and construction projects. The role requires ensuring projects are completed safely, within budget, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards while managing multidisciplinary teams, contractors, consultants, and key stakeholders.
Job Description
Project Planning & Execution
Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of hotel development and construction projects.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
Ensure project milestones are achieved within approved timelines and budgets.
Team & Stakeholder Management
Coordinate architects, engineers, builders, quantity surveyors, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
Manage stakeholder expectations through effective communication and issue resolution.
Facilitate project meetings and ensure timely follow-up on action items.
Site & Quality Management
Conduct regular site inspections.
Monitor project quality, progress, safety compliance, and adherence to approved specifications.
Ensure projects meet required quality standards and business objectives.
Procurement & Cost Control
Oversee procurement activities and resource availability.
Monitor project costs and implement cost-control measures.
Develop strategies to minimize delays, cost overruns, and operational disruptions.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, HSE requirements, environmental standards, and company policies.
Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports for executive management.
Recommend improvements to project management processes and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
Minimum of 7 years of project management experience.
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of:
Project management methodologies
Construction processes
Budgeting
Procurement
Contract administration
Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
Proficiency in:
Microsoft Project
Primavera
Microsoft Office Suite
Other project management software
Good understanding of:
