Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily workshop operations.
Supervise and motivate mechanics/technicians.
Oversee vehicle diagnostics, repairs, servicing and maintenance.
Ensure quality, safety and timely completion of jobs.
Monitor productivity, turnaround time and customer satisfaction.
Manage workshop tools, equipment and resources.
Review repair recommendations and estimates.
Maintain job cards, records and maintenance reports.
Ensure compliance with safety and workshop procedures.
Identify staff training needs.
Coordinate with Service Advisors, Parts Department and Management.
Control costs and reduce wastage.
Qualifications & Requirements
10+ years’ automotive workshop experience.
Proven team management experience.
Strong vehicle diagnostics, servicing and repair knowledge.
Experience with modern vehicles and diagnostic equipment.
Strong leadership, organisation and problem-solving skills.
Relevant qualification/certification in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or related field.
Dealership/workshop/service-centre experience is an advantage.
