Job Description
Sunbeth Global Concepts (SGC) is inviting applications for its 2026 Graduate Trainee Programme. The company is recruiting Graduate Trainees (Finance) for its warehouse operations in Akure, Ondo State and Sagamu, Ogun State.
This full-time graduate programme is designed for ambitious young professionals seeking practical experience in finance, warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, and agribusiness. Successful candidates will participate in a structured rotational programme that provides hands-on exposure to key business functions and prepares them for future leadership opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Successful trainees will gain practical experience across multiple business areas, including:
Warehouse Operations
- Support the receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of agricultural commodities.
- Maintain warehouse records and ensure compliance with operational procedures.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities.
Inventory Management
- Conduct stock reconciliation and inventory verification.
- Participate in inventory counts and variance investigations.
- Prepare inventory reports and maintain ERP records.
Finance & Accounting
- Assist with financial record keeping, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Support inventory costing and commodity valuation.
- Participate in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Assist with accounts payable, receivable, treasury operations, and trade finance documentation.
Tax & Regulatory Compliance
- Assist with VAT, PAYE, WHT, and other statutory remittances.
- Maintain tax documentation and support regulatory compliance activities.
- Participate in audit preparation and statutory reviews.
Internal Control & Risk Management
- Support internal control processes and compliance monitoring.
- Participate in warehouse audits and inventory verification.
- Identify operational risks and recommend process improvements.
Weighbridge Operations
- Verify inbound and outbound truck weights.
- Maintain accurate weighbridge records and documentation.
- Investigate discrepancies in commodity movement.
Quality Assurance & Sustainability
- Support commodity inspection and quality control activities.
- Assist with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.
- Promote responsible sourcing and sustainability programmes.
Operational Reporting
- Prepare operational reports and performance dashboards.
- Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Promote workplace safety and compliance with HSE standards.
- Participate in safety inspections and awareness activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree (minimum of Second Class Lower) in:
- Accounting
- Finance
- Economics
- NYSC Discharge Certificate.
- 0–2 years post-NYSC work experience.
- Maximum age of 25 years.
Professional Certifications (Optional)
Candidates with any of the following certifications will have an added advantage:
- ICAN
- ACA
- ACCA
- CFA
- CILT
- CIPS
