Job Description
Montego Upstream Services Limited is currently recruiting qualified and experienced professionals to fill the following full-time positions in Lagos State:
- Tax Accounting Specialist
- Treasury Accountant
- Tendering Engineer
Successful candidates will contribute to the company’s financial management, engineering operations, and business development while supporting its commitment to delivering high-quality services within the oil and gas industry.
Available Positions
1. Tax Accounting Specialist
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file statutory tax returns, including CIT, VAT, and WHT.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Liaise with tax authorities such as FIRS and State Internal Revenue Services.
- Manage transfer pricing documentation and compliance.
- Prepare tax reports and maintain accurate tax records.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting certification (ICAN or ACCA) is required.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and regulations.
- Practical experience working with FIRS, NIRS, and State Internal Revenue Services (e.g., LIRS).
- Proven experience in Transfer Pricing.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
2. Treasury Accountant
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the company’s cash flow and treasury operations.
- Maintain relationships with financial institutions.
- Monitor banking activities and support financial planning.
- Prepare treasury reports and financial analyses.
- Ensure compliance with banking and financial regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting certification (ICAN or ACCA) is required.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in treasury or finance.
- Experience within the oil and gas industry or a related sector is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Nigerian banking systems and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in SAP, Odoo, or similar accounting software.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
3. Tendering Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare technical bids and pre-qualification documents.
- Review tender specifications and requirements.
- Coordinate technical inputs for bid submissions.
- Maintain tender documentation and records.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure accurate and timely submission of proposals.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in tendering, project engineering, or construction.
- Experience preparing technical and commercial bid documents.
- Previous experience in the Oil & Gas, EPC, or Construction industry is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
