Job Description
Leadremit Limited is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join its technology team in Lagos.
This is a full-time hybrid position involving the development and maintenance of web applications across both front-end and back-end environments. The successful candidate will contribute to building scalable digital solutions, integrating APIs, improving application performance, and supporting secure and reliable payment-related services.
The role also involves working closely with product, design, and operations teams to convert business requirements into effective technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications across front-end and back-end systems.
- Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using modern web technologies.
- Develop, integrate, and maintain APIs and server-side applications.
- Improve application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of payment-related technology solutions.
- Integrate front-end applications with back-end services and databases.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards for software quality.
- Identify and resolve software bugs and technical issues.
- Work collaboratively with product, design, and operations teams to deliver business solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in engineering processes, tools, and technology stacks.
- Develop clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.
- Apply appropriate software development, testing, debugging, and version-control practices.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong back-end development capabilities with experience using server-side frameworks and APIs.
- Proficiency in front-end development, including modern JavaScript frameworks and CSS.
- Practical experience developing full-stack applications and integrating front-end and back-end systems.
- Sound understanding of software development principles, including testing, debugging, and version control.
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of scalable database and data-model design.
- Familiarity with payment systems, financial services, or fintech platforms is an advantage.
- Ability to produce clean, maintainable, and reliable code.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively within an agile and team-oriented environment.
