Job Description
EKEDC is seeking a technically skilled professional to join its Network and Communications team. The successful candidate will support the availability, performance, maintenance and troubleshooting of the organisation’s network infrastructure across its headquarters and district locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network performance and conduct regular performance checks across the headquarters and 18 RF connection stations.
- Troubleshoot network problems, outages and connectivity issues.
- Set up, manage, maintain and upgrade wireless networks.
- Diagnose and resolve issues involving network hardware, software and systems.
- Design, configure and maintain LAN infrastructure at the headquarters and district offices.
- Monitor network operations and provide timely reports on network performance and issues.
- Gather and prioritise relevant information for network operations and project management.
- Provide remote troubleshooting and technical support for end-user PCs.
- Identify potential network problems and implement appropriate solutions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- B.Sc., B.Tech or HND in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- 0–4 years of relevant experience in network and communications or a similar role.
- Must possess an NYSC Certificate of Completion or Exemption.
- Good knowledge of network troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Ability to diagnose hardware, software and connectivity problems.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple office locations.
