Job Description
Smartflow Technologies Limited is seeking a highly motivated Engineering Support (Pre-Sales) Graduate Trainee to join its engineering team. The successful candidate will support project planning, technical surveys, engineering documentation, solution design, and project execution processes while gaining valuable experience in engineering operations and pre-sales support.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for assigned tasks and projects
- Collaborate with support, sales, engineering, consulting, and product management teams
- Ensure compliance with established procedures to improve operational efficiency and reliability
- Conduct project surveys and site assessments for new engineering projects
- Coordinate survey schedules and communicate project timelines to relevant stakeholders
- Develop technical solutions, engineering designs, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Prepare timely and accurate technical and project reports
- Create engineering drawings using AutoCAD and other design software
- Support engineering project documentation and filing processes
- Assist with the planning and execution of new projects
- Work closely with the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) team in monitoring and investigating incidents, near misses, and workplace accidents
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and operational standardization
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Qualifications
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant engineering experience
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
- Ability to generate engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Good understanding of engineering project processes and site surveys
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Soft Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills
- High attention to detail
