Job Description
Uridium Technologies Limited is seeking a curious and tech-savvy AI Process Automation Intern to join its team in Lagos for a minimum of six months.
The intern will support efforts to identify opportunities where Artificial Intelligence can improve and automate everyday business processes. The role will involve understanding business processes, researching AI solutions, testing AI tools, developing simple AI-powered solutions, and supporting the implementation of successful automation initiatives.
The position provides exposure to AI applications across operations, supply chain, finance, procurement, and general business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and understand how different business processes operate.
- Identify repetitive or inefficient tasks that could be improved using AI.
- Research AI tools and solutions for identified business challenges.
- Assist in developing and testing simple AI solutions and prototypes.
- Support the automation of repetitive business tasks.
- Test and evaluate new AI tools and technologies with the team.
- Document ideas, findings, processes, and proposed solutions.
- Support the implementation of successful AI solutions.
- Collaborate with team members on AI and process improvement initiatives.
Areas of Focus
The intern may work on AI applications in:
- Operations and process manufacturing.
- Supply chain.
- Finance.
- Procurement.
- General business operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Currently studying or recently graduated in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- Basic programming knowledge, preferably Python.
- Good understanding of computers and technology.
- Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Curiosity and willingness to experiment with new technologies and tools.
- Ability to learn quickly and identify practical solutions to problems.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous AI projects, personal projects, or relevant coursework are an advantage but not mandatory.
