Job Description
Bluemool Limited is recruiting a Graduate Trainee – Quantity Surveying to assist with construction cost estimation, project budgeting, procurement documentation, and cost control. This opportunity is suitable for recent graduates or candidates with limited relevant work experience who want to develop practical skills in quantity surveying and construction project management.
The successful candidate will work with the project team to support cost assessments, maintain project records, and contribute to the efficient management of construction resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), project cost estimates, and tender documents.
- Support the measurement and valuation of construction work.
- Help monitor project expenses, budgets, and overall cost performance.
- Conduct material quantity take-offs and assist with procurement documentation.
- Review contractors’ quotations, invoices, and project variation requests.
- Maintain accurate cost records and relevant project documents.
- Collaborate with project team members to support construction activities and cost management.
- Participate in site-related assignments when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree or HND in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying, as applicable.
- Recent graduates and applicants with limited relevant work experience are encouraged to apply.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with relevant engineering or quantity surveying software is an added advantage.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute effectively to a project team.
- Ability to work on construction sites when necessary.
