Job Description
IITA is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented graduate intern to support its communications and digital media activities. The selected candidate will assist in managing social media platforms, creating engaging multimedia content, and supporting digital storytelling initiatives across various projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support planning and execution of social media content across multiple platforms
- Create and edit written, visual, and multimedia content
- Monitor audience engagement and prepare basic performance reports
- Assist with documentation of events and project activities
- Maintain organized media files and communication archives
- Support digital storytelling and content development initiatives
Qualifications & Requirements
- Recent graduate in Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related discipline
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and X
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Basic graphic design knowledge using Canva, Adobe tools, or similar software
- Good organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
