Job Description
PalmPay is seeking a Business Developer to drive the acquisition and onboarding of business owners and merchants onto its Pay With Transfer (PWT) solution.
This is a field-based sales role involving daily interaction with business owners in markets and commercial locations. The successful candidate will educate prospective merchants about the service, assist with account onboarding, and work toward daily and weekly acquisition targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential business customers in markets and commercial areas.
- Engage business owners and explain the benefits of PalmPay’s Pay With Transfer solution.
- Educate and support prospective merchants through the onboarding process.
- Assist business owners with opening business accounts.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with merchants.
- Meet assigned daily and weekly onboarding targets.
- Participate actively in field-based customer acquisition activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 0–1 year of experience in sales or a related role.
- Previous sales or customer-facing experience is an advantage.
- Must be available for immediate resumption.
- Must reside in Lagos or another Southwest state.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident and energetic personality.
- Target-driven and motivated to achieve sales goals.
- Ability to interact comfortably with business owners and customers in field environments.
- Willingness to learn and work in a performance-driven environment.
