Job Description
RS Hunter Limited is recruiting a Customer Service/Sales Representative for a retail company in Surulere, Lagos. The role involves assisting customers, driving sales, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience within a fast-paced retail environment.
Key responsibilities
- Welcoming customers and assisting them in selecting party items for events (birthdays, graduations, baby showers, holidays, etc.)
- Promoting products, upselling packages, and recommending complementary items
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products, new arrivals, and promotions
- Processing transactions accurately (cash, POS, and online orders)
- Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally
- Ensuring the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing
- Assisting with stock replenishment, inventory checks, and product displays
- Supporting marketing efforts by informing customers about ongoing promotions
- Building and maintaining relationships with repeat and corporate clients
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in customer service, sales, or retail (experience in a party or gift store is an added advantage)
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, persuasive, and customer-focused attitude
- Basic computer, numerical, and POS system skills
