The role also involves maintaining the assigned vehicle, ensuring compliance with traffic regulations, and supporting official errands while demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and punctuality.
Job Description
Transportation
Safely transport management, staff, and visitors to designated locations.
Plan efficient routes to ensure timely arrival while minimizing traffic delays.
Run official errands, including document deliveries and collections.
Vehicle Maintenance
Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after trips.
Keep the assigned vehicle clean, fueled, and in good working condition.
Report mechanical faults, accidents, or maintenance needs promptly.
Ensure vehicle documents (insurance, driver’s license, roadworthiness certificate, etc.) remain valid.
Record Keeping & Compliance
Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle servicing.
Comply with all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and courtesy at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
Valid Nigerian Driver’s License.
At least 3 years of professional driving experience.
Good knowledge of Lagos road networks, especially Mainland and Island routes.
Knowledge of Lagos traffic regulations.
Ability to use Google Maps or other navigation applications.
Basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity, reliability, and punctuality.
Must be willing to reside in the accommodation provided.
