Job Description
As a Finance and Loan Operations Officer, you will support the company’s daily loan administration and financial operations. The role involves preparing reports, coordinating loan disbursements, maintaining accurate loan records, liaising with banking partners, and ensuring compliance with financial and tax documentation requirements.
This position provides valuable practical experience for NYSC Corps members seeking to develop a career in banking, fintech, credit administration, or financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare weekly and monthly loan performance reports.
- Coordinate the timely disbursement of approved loans.
- Send loan repayment reminders in line with company policies.
- Liaise with partner banks on loan disbursements, repayments, and related transactions.
- Maintain accurate loan records and reconcile the company’s loan portfolio.
- Assist with tax documentation and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Support general finance and loan operations activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Must be a newly deployed NYSC Corps member serving in Lagos State.
- Experience in a financial institution, fintech company, or related organization is an advantage.
- Professional certifications are an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Basic understanding of loan administration, financial record-keeping, and tax documentation.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
