The organization is currently recruiting a Human Resources Intern to support its HR operations in Abuja, Nigeria.
Job Description
The Human Resources Intern will support the HR team with administrative and operational activities to ensure the efficient functioning of HR processes. This internship offers an opportunity to gain practical exposure to core HR functions while contributing to organisational operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support recruitment activities by scheduling and confirming interviews with candidates.
- Assist in compiling and organising HR reports and documentation.
- Provide administrative and operational support to HR activities.
- Participate in training and learning opportunities to develop HR management skills.
- Support the HR team in implementing departmental priorities and operational tasks.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Sociology, Public Administration, Human Resource Management, Industrial/Labour Relations, Office Management, or a related social science discipline.
- Some experience in administrative management is required.
Preferred Qualification
- Previous internship experience with donor-funded projects or HR administrative processes is an advantage.
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong professional work ethic.
- Good teamwork and collaboration skills, especially in a multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and internet tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
