Job Description
The Graduate Trainee (Engineering) Programme is an intensive early-career development initiative created to prepare outstanding engineering graduates for technical and operational roles within the organization.
Selected candidates will participate in structured learning programmes, engineering rotations, field assignments, mentoring sessions, and competency assessments while gaining practical experience across engineering and offshore operations.
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will:
- Participate actively in all technical and professional development programmes.
- Complete engineering rotations and competency assessments.
- Support maintenance, drilling, marine, and engineering operations.
- Assist with equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) policies.
- Prepare engineering documentation, technical reports, and operational records.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve departmental objectives.
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, accountability, and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Carry out other duties assigned during the graduate development programme.
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.Eng. or B.Sc.) in any of the following:
- Marine Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Electrical & Electronic Engineering
- Petroleum Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1) (First Class graduates are strongly encouraged to apply).
- 0–1 year post-graduation experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- High level of integrity and commitment to workplace safety.
- Willingness to work in offshore and operational environments when required.
