Job Description
Basscomm Group Limited is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Trainees (NYSC Interns) with a strong interest in electrical systems and solar energy technologies. This role is ideal for prospective corps members or recent graduates seeking a PPA placement where they can gain hands-on experience, technical exposure, and professional mentorship in electrical and renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and solar power systems
- Assist with system design, testing, and basic performance analysis
- Participate in fieldwork, inspections, and project execution
- Support documentation, reporting, and technical records
- Work closely with senior engineers on ongoing projects
- Learn and apply industry best practices in renewable energy and electrical engineering
Qualifications & Requirements
- BSc/B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related discipline
- Intended NYSC corps members (next batch) or fresh graduates seeking a PPA placement
- Strong interest in electrical systems and solar energy technologies
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Basic knowledge of CAD or solar simulation tools is an added advantage
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced work environment
