The HSE Officer will ensure that all architectural projects, office operations, and construction-related activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. The role involves implementing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a safe work environment.
Job Description
Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures.
Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective measures.
Carry out risk assessments for projects.
Ensure compliance with company and regulatory HSE standards.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses.
Prepare incident and safety reports.
Organize safety trainings, inductions, and awareness programs.
Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Maintain HSE records, reports, and documentation.
Coordinate emergency preparedness and response plans.
Advise management on safety improvements.
Monitor environmental impacts and waste management practices.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in a related field.
Relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
1–3 years of practical HSE experience.
Knowledge of HSE regulations and compliance standards.
Ability to conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.
Strong reporting and documentation skills.
Good communication and training abilities.
