Job Description
Wema Bank Plc is currently recruiting qualified candidates for two Product Manager roles within its digital and retail banking divisions. These roles are focused on driving customer growth, product innovation, and strategic partnerships.
Available Positions
1. Product Manager – Digital Loyalty & Campaigns
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize the bank’s digital loyalty programs (rewards, tiers, partnerships)
- Design and execute marketing campaigns (e.g., savings promotions, FX campaigns)
- Drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies
- Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights
- Collaborate with marketing and tech teams for seamless execution
- Ensure regulatory compliance in all campaigns
- Manage campaign budgets and ROI
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field
- 2–5 years’ experience in product management, marketing, or digital banking
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Experience in campaign management and customer segmentation
- Knowledge of fintech/digital banking ecosystem
2. Product Manager – Workplace Banking
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute workplace banking strategies
- Drive salary account acquisition and employer partnerships
- Design financial solutions for employees (loans, savings, digital products)
- Collaborate with sales teams for onboarding and activation
- Manage relationships with HR teams and corporate clients
- Monitor performance metrics (accounts, deposits, transactions)
- Ensure customer retention and satisfaction
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 3–5+ years’ experience in retail banking, business development, or product management
- Proven experience in salary account acquisition or partnerships
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Deep understanding of banking products and customer lifecycle
