Job Description
Newedge Finance Limited is recruiting a Loan Collection Officer to join its remote collections team. This full-time work-from-home opportunity is ideal for motivated individuals with strong communication and negotiation skills who can effectively engage customers and achieve collection targets.
The role is open to qualified candidates based in Abuja (FCT) and offers the flexibility of working remotely while enjoying performance-based incentives and career growth opportunities.
Work Schedule: Monday – Saturday
Key Responsibilities
- Contact customers to facilitate timely loan repayments.
- Negotiate repayment arrangements and resolve outstanding loan balances professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and collection activities.
- Meet assigned collection and recovery targets.
- Deliver excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Escalate complex collection cases where necessary.
- Perform other debt recovery and customer engagement tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants should possess the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree, HND, NCE, or OND in any relevant discipline.
- 0–1 year of work experience.
- Fluency in both English and Hausa.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong target-oriented mindset and good problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience in loan collections, debt recovery, customer service, or related roles will be an added advantage.
Salary Range (₦)
- Basic Salary: ₦70,000 per month
- Performance Bonus: ₦30,000 – ₦200,000
