Job Description
Food Concepts Plc is recruiting a Marketing Officer to provide administrative, operational, and data support across its marketing functions.
This entry-level position will work across E-Commerce, Marketing Operations, and New Product Development, supporting campaign tracking, performance reporting, new store launches, e-commerce monitoring, and third-party logistics (3PL) performance management.
The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager, Digital Sales and help ensure that marketing activities are properly tracked, documented, and executed on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Data Management
- Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly marketing performance reports.
- Compile sales information, campaign results, and e-commerce performance indicators.
- Maintain a central marketing dashboard covering key metrics such as store revenue, cancellation rates, product availability, and campaign performance.
- Consolidate data from physical stores and online channels into clear, presentation-ready reports.
- Review weekly data to identify unusual changes, significant store performance declines, strong performance spikes, or regional trends.
- Escalate important data anomalies to the appropriate department heads.
Campaign Tracking & Administrative Support
- Monitor campaign deliverables, deadlines, and implementation status.
- Record meeting minutes and follow up on agreed action points from marketing and cross-functional meetings.
- Maintain marketing files, trackers, standard operating procedures, and other documentation.
- Organise shared-drive resources and ensure proper version control and accessibility.
- Support the marketing team with administrative activities required for efficient execution.
Store Opening Coordination
- Support the administrative coordination of new store openings.
- Liaise with Marketing Operations, Store Development teams, and external vendors.
- Track store opening timelines, milestones, and marketing activation requirements.
- Ensure new outlets are correctly listed and activated on digital platforms such as Google Maps, aggregator applications, the company website, and social media.
- Coordinate the procurement and delivery of launch materials, including branded assets, point-of-sale materials, and flyers.
- Maintain an up-to-date new-store tracker covering opening dates, marketing readiness, activation status, and post-opening performance.
E-Commerce & 3PL Monitoring
- Monitor product availability across active e-commerce platforms on a daily basis.
- Identify and report products that are incorrectly listed, unavailable, or deactivated.
- Maintain weekly performance reports for third-party logistics (3PL) partners.
- Track cancellation rates and identify performance issues by logistics partner.
- Work with store and operations teams to ensure online product listings accurately reflect product availability.
- Monitor cancellations resulting from product unavailability, incorrect orders, or fulfilment problems.
- Prepare weekly summaries of cancellation trends and other e-commerce performance indicators.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Performance in the role will be assessed based on:
- Accuracy and timeliness of weekly and monthly marketing reports.
- Successful execution of new store openings without marketing-related delays.
- Timely activation of digital listings, marketing materials, and launch campaigns.
- Effective monitoring and escalation of e-commerce product availability issues.
- Regular tracking and reporting of 3PL performance.
- Up-to-date campaign trackers and departmental calendars.
- Reduction in cancellations linked to product availability through consistent monitoring and follow-up.
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- A good Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
Professional Requirements
- Membership of NIMN, APCON, or another relevant professional body is required.
Experience
- 0–2 years of progressive experience in marketing, brand management, or a related field.
- Strong interest in marketing operations, digital sales, e-commerce, and data-driven decision-making.
- Good analytical and reporting abilities.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
