Job Description

Julius Berger Nigeria is recruiting qualified professionals for multiple engineering and construction roles. These positions are critical to delivering high-quality infrastructure projects, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining safety and compliance standards across all project sites.

Available Roles & Key Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Engineer

  • Develop and improve electrical maintenance and diagnostic systems
  • Design electrical installations, wiring, and power distribution systems
  • Identify recurring faults and implement engineering solutions
  • Optimize power supply systems including generators and hybrid solutions
  • Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and bills of quantities
  • Support project mobilization, tender processes, and installations
  • Ensure compliance with electrical standards and regulations
  • Provide technical guidance and training to team members

2. Structural Construction Manager

  • Lead and supervise construction site teams and operations
  • Coordinate subcontractors and manage project timelines
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards
  • Oversee project execution and ensure timely delivery
  • Manage change orders and verify contractor invoices
  • Drive efficient planning and execution of construction activities

3. Construction Foreman

  • Supervise structural construction projects and site activities
  • Coordinate workers and subcontractors for smooth operations
  • Monitor work quality and ensure adherence to project standards
  • Participate in project planning and preparation
  • Maintain proper documentation of site activities

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

  • Minimum of BA/BSc/HND in a relevant discipline

Experience:

Electrical Engineer:

  • 5–8 years of experience in electrical engineering or power systems

Structural Construction Manager:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in large-scale construction projects

Construction Foreman:

  • At least 5 years of experience in building construction projects

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong technical expertise in construction or engineering fields
  • Ability to manage teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • English language proficiency (minimum B2/C1 level)
