Job Description
Julius Berger Nigeria is recruiting qualified professionals for multiple engineering and construction roles. These positions are critical to delivering high-quality infrastructure projects, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining safety and compliance standards across all project sites.
Available Roles & Key Responsibilities:
1. Electrical Engineer
- Develop and improve electrical maintenance and diagnostic systems
- Design electrical installations, wiring, and power distribution systems
- Identify recurring faults and implement engineering solutions
- Optimize power supply systems including generators and hybrid solutions
- Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and bills of quantities
- Support project mobilization, tender processes, and installations
- Ensure compliance with electrical standards and regulations
- Provide technical guidance and training to team members
2. Structural Construction Manager
- Lead and supervise construction site teams and operations
- Coordinate subcontractors and manage project timelines
- Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards
- Oversee project execution and ensure timely delivery
- Manage change orders and verify contractor invoices
- Drive efficient planning and execution of construction activities
3. Construction Foreman
- Supervise structural construction projects and site activities
- Coordinate workers and subcontractors for smooth operations
- Monitor work quality and ensure adherence to project standards
- Participate in project planning and preparation
- Maintain proper documentation of site activities
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- Minimum of BA/BSc/HND in a relevant discipline
Experience:
Electrical Engineer:
- 5–8 years of experience in electrical engineering or power systems
Structural Construction Manager:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in large-scale construction projects
Construction Foreman:
- At least 5 years of experience in building construction projects
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical expertise in construction or engineering fields
- Ability to manage teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- English language proficiency (minimum B2/C1 level)
