Job Description

The NYSC Intern will support the management and optimization of the organization’s Zoho ecosystem. The role involves assisting with CRM administration, business process automation, data management, reporting, and internal user support.

You will gain practical exposure to enterprise systems, workflow automation, and digital transformation initiatives while working closely with experienced professionals across different departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Zoho CRM Administration & Support

  • Assist in managing Zoho applications such as Zoho CRM, Zoho Desk, Zoho Books, Zoho People, and Zoho Recruit
  • Maintain accurate customer, sales, and operational records
  • Support user onboarding, account setup, permissions, and troubleshooting
  • Monitor system performance and suggest improvements

Workflow & Automation Support

  • Assist in building and maintaining workflows, automation rules, and approval processes
  • Support implementation of business process automation initiatives
  • Test and document new system workflows before deployment

Data Management & Reporting

  • Perform data entry, cleaning, imports, exports, and validation
  • Generate reports and dashboards for management decision-making
  • Analyze data trends and ensure data accuracy and consistency

User Support & Documentation

  • Provide basic technical support to internal users
  • Develop user manuals, guides, and training materials
  • Assist in training staff on Zoho tools and best practices

Project Support

  • Support Zoho implementation, customization, and integration projects
  • Collaborate with teams to gather business requirements
  • Participate in testing and quality assurance activities

Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, MIS, or related field
  • Must be an active NYSC corps member seeking a Primary Place of Assignment (PPA)

Technical Skills

  • Basic understanding of CRM systems and business applications
  • Familiarity with Zoho products is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office tools
  • Basic knowledge of data analysis, reporting, or databases
  • Understanding of workflow automation concepts is desirable
  • Knowledge of HTML, SQL, or scripting (e.g., Deluge) is an added advantage

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Fast learner with adaptability to new technologies
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team

Added Advantage

  • Previous internship or project experience with CRM systems
  • Zoho certification or training (ongoing or completed)
  • Experience in data entry, reporting, or documentation
  • Interest in digital transformation and business automation
