Job Description
The Social Media Manager will support the company’s online presence by managing social media platforms and creating engaging digital content. This role is ideal for a creative NYSC member who enjoys content creation, understands social media trends, and wants to build a career in digital marketing and social media management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and update the company’s social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Create engaging short-form video content such as Reels and TikTok videos.
- Edit videos using tools like CapCut, InShot, or similar applications.
- Assist with content planning and scheduling.
- Write simple and engaging captions for posts.
- Monitor engagement and respond to comments and messages when necessary.
- Stay updated with social media trends and suggest creative content ideas.
- Support other digital marketing activities when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be a current NYSC Corper.
- Basic knowledge of social media management.
- Familiarity with short-form video editing tools such as CapCut or InShot.
- Creative with a strong eye for engaging content.
- Good communication and writing skills.
- Willingness to learn, grow, and take initiative.
- Basic understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn trends is an added advantage.
