Job Description
SustyVibes is inviting applications for the position of Programme Delivery Intern under The Eco-Anxiety Africa Project (TEAP). This hybrid internship offers an opportunity to contribute to one of Africa’s leading youth-focused climate and mental health initiatives.
The successful candidate will support programme implementation, research activities, community engagement, monitoring and evaluation, and administrative coordination. Working closely with the Head of TEAP and the programme team, the intern will help deliver impactful projects that promote climate resilience and mental well-being across Africa.
This internship runs for six (6) months, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Coordination
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and delivering TEAP programmes, workshops, and events.
- Manage participant registration, communication, and follow-up throughout programme cycles.
- Track programme activities, milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
- Prepare meeting notes, action points, and programme documentation.
Research & Monitoring
- Support research activities, including data collection and management.
- Assist with Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) processes.
- Document programme outcomes, lessons learned, and recommendations for future improvements.
Community Engagement
- Maintain communication with programme participants, facilitators, and partners.
- Support participant engagement before, during, and after programme activities.
- Assist in developing educational resources, toolkits, and programme materials.
- Document programme success stories, case studies, and impact reports.
Administrative Support
- Maintain organized programme records and documentation.
- Coordinate meetings and internal programme schedules.
- Assist with donor reporting and organizational learning activities.
- Ensure programme records remain accurate, complete, and up to date.
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or be currently completing one) in:
- Environmental Science
- Psychology
- Public Health
- Social Sciences
- Or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in climate change, sustainability, youth development, or mental health.
- Experience or demonstrated interest in research, data collection, analysis, or report writing.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Strong alignment with SustyVibes’ mission and values.
