Job Description

The company is seeking an experienced and results-driven Remote Sales Manager to lead and scale its sales operations. The role involves managing a remote sales team, driving revenue growth, and optimizing sales processes to improve conversion rates and customer experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Leading and managing the sales team to achieve weekly and monthly revenue targets
  • Recruiting, training, and coaching sales representatives
  • Monitoring KPIs such as calls, follow-ups, conversions, and closed deals
  • Managing the sales pipeline to ensure no leads are neglected
  • Closing high-value deals and supporting team members with complex prospects
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and performance reports
  • Improving sales scripts and processes for better efficiency
  • Collaborating with marketing and operations to enhance lead quality and onboarding
  • Identifying growth opportunities and expanding market reach
  • Driving upselling, cross-selling, and customer retention strategies
  • Building and maintaining a high-performance sales culture

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales
  • At least 2 years’ experience in student recruitment
  • Proven experience managing and leading sales teams with measurable results
  • Strong ability to close deals and handle objections effectively
  • Experience with CRM tools and sales pipeline management
  • Ability to train, mentor, and coach team members
  • Strong understanding of the Nigerian and African market
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Ability to work with targets and consistently meet KPIs
  • High level of accountability, organization, and leadership
  • Ability to work remotely with a stable internet connection and required tools
  • Experience with Google Ads and Meta Ads is an added advantage
