Job Description
The company is seeking an experienced and results-driven Remote Sales Manager to lead and scale its sales operations. The role involves managing a remote sales team, driving revenue growth, and optimizing sales processes to improve conversion rates and customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Leading and managing the sales team to achieve weekly and monthly revenue targets
- Recruiting, training, and coaching sales representatives
- Monitoring KPIs such as calls, follow-ups, conversions, and closed deals
- Managing the sales pipeline to ensure no leads are neglected
- Closing high-value deals and supporting team members with complex prospects
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and performance reports
- Improving sales scripts and processes for better efficiency
- Collaborating with marketing and operations to enhance lead quality and onboarding
- Identifying growth opportunities and expanding market reach
- Driving upselling, cross-selling, and customer retention strategies
- Building and maintaining a high-performance sales culture
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales
- At least 2 years’ experience in student recruitment
- Proven experience managing and leading sales teams with measurable results
- Strong ability to close deals and handle objections effectively
- Experience with CRM tools and sales pipeline management
- Ability to train, mentor, and coach team members
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian and African market
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
- Ability to work with targets and consistently meet KPIs
- High level of accountability, organization, and leadership
- Ability to work remotely with a stable internet connection and required tools
- Experience with Google Ads and Meta Ads is an added advantage
