Job Description
Carlcare Development is recruiting a Technical Support Intern to support its electric bike operations in Lagos. The role offers hands-on experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical support within the electric mobility sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting faults in electric bikes, including batteries, motors, controllers, and electrical systems.
- Support routine maintenance, servicing, and repair of electric bikes.
- Conduct inspections to ensure bikes meet safety and operational standards.
- Monitor battery performance and charging systems.
- Assist in installation, testing, and replacement of electrical and mechanical components.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and technical reports.
- Provide basic technical support to customers and internal teams.
- Support inventory management of spare parts and technical equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality standards.
- Work closely with senior technicians to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
- OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automobile Technology, or related field.
- 0–1 year of experience (internship or NYSC experience is an advantage).
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, batteries, motors, and mechanical components.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced technical environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is an added advantage.
