Job Description


Available Positions

1. Finance Officer

The Finance Officer will be responsible for managing accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting financial reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify vendor invoices against contracts and supporting documents
  • Post invoices, advances, and expenses into the financial system
  • Manage petty cash and staff advances
  • Monitor vendor balances and accounts payable aging
  • Prepare financial analyses and monthly reports
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing systems
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies

2. Accounts Payable Officer

The Accounts Payable Officer will oversee invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliation activities while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify invoices, purchase orders, and delivery notes
  • Register vendor details on ERP systems
  • Process and post approved invoices
  • Ensure timely payment of vendors and statutory deductions (PAYE, VAT, WHT, Pension)
  • Perform vendor reconciliations
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing systems
  • Support periodic financial closing processes
  • Manage fixed asset register and depreciation

Qualifications & Requirements

Finance Officer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Minimum of 1–2 years post-NYSC experience
  • Must have started ICAN (minimum Skills level)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS
  • Basic knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Accounts Payable Officer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years post-NYSC experience
  • Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA) required
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial controls
  • Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • Analytical, organizational, and financial modelling skills
