Job Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Senior Program Manager at Paystack Microfinance Bank.
The successful candidate will lead and coordinate high-impact infrastructure and security programs across engineering teams while ensuring successful execution, stakeholder alignment, risk management, and operational readiness.
This role is ideal for experienced project or program managers with strong technical understanding, leadership skills, and experience working in fast-paced technology environments.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing multiple infrastructure and security programs from planning to delivery
- Coordinating engineering, product, infrastructure, and security teams
- Defining project scope, timelines, milestones, and success metrics
- Managing risks, blockers, dependencies, and escalations proactively
- Coordinating compliance audits and remediation activities
- Organizing project reviews, stakeholder meetings, retrospectives, and status updates
- Tracking project execution using schedules, RAID logs, and dependency maps
- Improving delivery processes and operational workflows
- Utilizing AI-powered tools to automate reporting, documentation, and project operations
- Ensuring rollout readiness, testing coordination, and operational stability for production systems
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in program or project management
- Experience managing cross-functional engineering or technical projects
- Strong understanding of infrastructure and security concepts including:
- CI/CD pipelines
- Platform reliability and SLA management
- Networking fundamentals
- Monitoring and observability
- IAM and access control
- Vulnerability management
- Compliance frameworks
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience working in ambiguous and fast-paced environments
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with AI tools for project automation and workflow optimization
