Job Description
Dangote Cement Plc is currently recruiting qualified professionals for multiple technical and engineering positions across Nigeria.
The available roles focus on SAP systems management, mechanical engineering, and instrumentation control within a large-scale industrial environment. Successful candidates will support operational efficiency, system integration, maintenance, and process optimization across various departments.
Available Positions:
- SAP Functional Support Analyst – Controlling
- SAP Functional Support Analyst – Production Planning
- Assistant General Manager, Mechanical (Hydraulics Specialist)
- Instrumentation Engineer
Key Responsibilities
SAP Functional Roles:
- Provide functional support for SAP FI, CO, and PP modules
- Manage SAP implementation and support projects
- Gather and document business requirements
- Perform system testing, training, and documentation
- Support integration between SAP modules and business applications
- Design and implement system improvements and reporting solutions
- Work with technical teams to bridge business and IT needs
Mechanical / Engineering Roles:
- Maintain and troubleshoot industrial hydraulic systems and plant machinery
- Ensure efficient operation of cement production equipment
- Conduct system analysis, inspections, and preventive maintenance
- Support automation, instrumentation, and control system calibration
- Manage engineering teams and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Implement maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and improve efficiency
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
- Advanced certifications or Master’s degree is an advantage (for senior roles)
Experience:
- 3–6 years experience for SAP-related roles
- 5–15 years experience for engineering and mechanical positions
- Proven experience in industrial, manufacturing, or SAP environments
Technical Skills:
- SAP FI/CO/PP modules (for SAP roles)
- S4 HANA knowledge is an advantage
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, PLC, SCADA, and instrumentation
- ABAP debugging knowledge (added advantage)
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Team collaboration and project management skills
